Get Better.

“It is better to learn late than never.” Publilius Syrus (Roman author, 1st century B.C.)

Over the last twenty years, I have been blessed to travel the world, train thousands of surfers of every ability and make a lot of awesome friends. I’ve seen almost everything you could imagine and learned a thing or two along the way. I’m passionate about helping people get more out of surfing. So I’ve developed ten strategies designed to accelerate you from Kook to Kelly:-

1) Set surfing goals and dare to dream.

2) Analyze your surfing on video.

3) Understand skill progression.

4) Learn your strengths and weaknesses.

5) Practice perfectly.

6) Recognize surfing improvement to boost confidence.

7) Buy good surfing equipment.

8. Build mileage.

9) Become match fit.

10) Get your head right.

Through-out my blogs and ramblings, I’ll explore these strategies in more detail and plenty more … reflections from my surfs, bust a move tech tips, lots of how stuff, travel tales and tips from the road, observations from the CT and plenty more. All aimed at helping you learn, be better informed and fast track your progress. I wish you luck and hope that you’ll be tearing it apart as a result.
