Do this

Do this.

Why?
You shouldn’t have to ask by now.
How?
You shouldn’t have to ask by now.

What do you see here in this Surfer Magazine image of Dane Reynolds? Look very closely. The big spray is obvious. But how did it get there?

The secret that I go on and on and on about is setting the rail on its edge.

Notice Dane’s toes are slightly up on the air?

This indicates maximum weight on his heels. If you apply maximum weight to your heels or toes, the board will tip to it’s side, the rail will engage, drag will be reduced and the board will carve – producing that spray that you really want to impress your friends with.

The secret to applying weight to heels or toes is ankle roll and knee bend.

It’s subtle and simple. But extremely effective if you can get your head around it.

Please try it.
